Checkout Page

The checkout page on Pro2Store is a single Yootheme Pro Builder page. This gives you the control over how you want your checkout to flow.

But with complete control, comes extra complexity. But we've made building your checkout flow as easy as dropping in some Yootheme Pro elements.

On this page:

The Checkout Elements:

Cart User

Cart Items

Cart Summary

Coupon Field

Checkout Notes

T&Cs Checkbox

Offline Pay

Together... these elements work to create a checkout flow  - all built inside Yootheme Pro

Cart User

The Cart User element allows your customers to login, register and 'guest checkout' directly in your checkout page.

Once logged in, the element allows the user to add addresses, then select shipping and billing addresses.

The element sits in a basic UIkit panel/card so can be styled accordingly.

Cart Items

The Cart Items element will display a list of the items the user has put in their cart.

Cart Summary

The Cart Summary element will show the costs associated with the users cart, uch as subtotal, shipping total, discounts and grand total.

Coupon Field

This Coupon Field element will display a simple input field that allows customers to enter your shops discount codes and apply discounts.

Checkout Notes

This Checkout Notes element will show a textbox input that allows the customer to enter order notes - such as delivery instructions or personalisation.

T&Cs Checkbox

This T&Cs Checkbox element will show a checkbox input that allows the customer to agree to terms and conditions before continuing with the purchase. You can set this checkbox as required in the Pro2Store configuration.

Offline Pay

This Offline Pay element will a show a button to allow the customer a button to complete the order. The button can be customised just like any normal UIkit button.

Setting up a Checkout Page

Keep in mind that the Pro2Store Checkout page is simply a Yootheme Pro Builder Page.

Step 1

Note

If you created a Checkout Page during the Pro2Store setup process, you can skip step 1.

Create a Yootheme Pro Builder Page as you would normally. Go to the Joomla Content Manager and create a new article. Than activate the article as a Builder Page.

Step 2

In the Yootheme Pro builder, drop the checkout elements into you layout however you wish.

Setting up Multi-Page Checkout.

Multipage checkout flows are possible as all the checkout elements work independently of each other.

For instance, the Cart User module can be used as a customer login element on any page - the Coupon Field element can be used anywhere in your site etc.
